Dear unwritten word,
Your Faithful Reader has arrived at the beginning of another creative process and we are looking for new contributors!
What is needed is you—your words, your fresh take, your spin and insight on the unexpected, the funny, the challenging, the heartbreaking, the ethereal, the life altering, and the just.
So we are inviting you to submit a letter!
We would love to see letters using the thought process asked and answered. Maybe you have two sides of a story to tell. Maybe you want to respond to a letter you have seen in a previous show. Or maybe you want to partner up with a friend to write two sides of a conversation through letter form. Feel free to get creative!

Letters can be about anything. Our prompts are just suggestions to get you writing. However, It must be composed as a letter using "Dear.. "
You can personally sign it or keep it anonymous, but please give it a finish. For example "Sincerely, Your 3 Legged Cat" or "All the best, Your Former Employee" or "Catch you on the flip side, Grim Reaper". You get it, but please sign off.
Whether in programs or at readings, performances or anywhere else it is shared, you will always be credited for your writing. In addition, a small stipend and ticket will be offered for letters performed in our show in February.
We are always taking ongoing submissions and put out specific calls with deadlines closer to shows and full runs. Don't be afraid to submit at any time. Keep an eye out for submission deadlines and when we are seeking specific topics.

There is no required length. Your letter can be as short or long as you like, but ideally please try to keep it within 2-3 typed pages at most.
If you are writing and also performing, you will not be able to perform your own letter.
This might be the most important rule of all...You must be willing to let it go. Once you send your letter to us, it becomes part of our program. Maybe it gets used for a show or a fundraising event or short film. Maybe it gets edited a bit or turned into a dialogue. Maybe it is interpreted through dance. But know we will keep it safe and love on it and breathe different life and perspectives into it as a community. We are here to lift up and give even more life to your voice.
We promise to cherish your letter.
