Audrey Goldfarb
is a biomedical Ph.D. Student at the Rockefeller University in NYC. To avoid her thesis research, Audrey spends her time doing science communication, writing fiction, running, cycling, taking improv comedy classes, and communing with nature.
Christina Singh
has a passion for creativity and purposeful daydreaming. She recently completed her first novel, Under the Carpet, and is querying agents to get published. When she isn't busy working in the NYC parks scene or reading with her tuxedo cat Robert, you can find her at a local Brooklyn cafe writing.
Mariko Sakita
is a Japanese-American, avid diarist, and mom of three who has been married for almost 40 years. Her heroes include Cleopatra, Eleanor Roosevelt, Agatha Christie, Carol Burnett, and our NY Knicks! Some of her favorite shows are Ted Lasso, The Crown, Lupin, and Midnight Diner. Mariko is also currently polishing up her final draft of Ring Around the Ivy 「丸に蔦・Maru ni Tsuta」, a compilation of stories about her Japanese family and heritage. Nathanael Curtis
also known as The Strayer Between Dimensions, is best known for his rendition of Vogan poetry. His other epic works, including a historical account of the Multiverse's Creation Myth has been translated into over one zebzillion intergalatic tastes, smells, gyrations, frequencies, and languages.

is an actor and writer, based in NYC. This year, her short screenplay “Shokh Maidel” was honored in several European film festivals. “Dear Understudy” is dedicated to anyone who has ever felt the shame of comparison and struggles to be seen.

is a disruptor. She takes pride in using her voice to help others and challenging the status quo by wielding her mighty pen.
Miriam Wasmund
wouldn't call herself a writer, but she loves to write. If she were to call herself a writer then she would like to thank her 5th and 7th Grade English teachers, Mrs. Lev and Mrs. Ruhana for being badass women who taught her to have a backbone in words....and books, she would also like to thank books.
Phil Bascom
is a poet, essayist, and software engineer -- when capitalism forces him to be, but also sometimes for fun. When he's not venting his frustration to strangers, he works to make practical change at properelevation.org
Luz Baez
is a 68-year-old Puerto Rican woman who has lived in the United States for the greater part of her life. She is proud of her Puerto Rican roots and grateful for the educational and employment advantages afforded to her in this country. Telling and recording stories is one of her favorite things. She finds that letter writing has become a thing of the past, but has found great joy in actually writing, receiving and reading letters. She appreciates this experience. Either we tell our own story, or it is erased or rewritten.
Carrie James
is a queer writer, performer, and producer, who has been involved with Your Faithful Reader since 2019. She is a member of the Los Feliz Writer's Block and the London Writer's Salon, both of which are essential to her being able to get her ideas out of her brain and onto paper.
